-No.  In Ontario a motorcycle license in not required to buy one however, you will need a motorcycle license to legally ride one.

Do I need a license to ride?

=Yes.  In Ontario, an "M" class license is required for all gas powered vehicles or any electric vehicles that exceed 500 watts power and/or without pedals and/or exceed 32km/h speed (no longer classified as an e-bike). For further information please click on "How to get started in Ontario" link from our home page

Do I need insurance to ride?

=Yes.  In Ontario Vespa and Piaggio scooters are considered motorcycles by class and require licensing and insurance.  Insurance cost tend to be much cheaper than a gear shift motorcycle.

Are these easy to ride?

=Yes.  If you can ride and balance a bicycle, you can ride a Vespa.  Our vehicles are automatic (Twist and go transmission) making them much easier than a gear shift motorcycle.  We always recommend rider training for any 2/3 wheeled motorcycle/scooter.

Can these go on the Highway?

=Yes.  In Ontario, any vehicle 51cc and up can go on any highway providing it can achieve highway speed. However, we recommend using a 300cc and up which can easily exceed 120km/h+ for highways like our 400/401/QEW.

Do i need a helmet?

=Yes.  In Canada we allow 3 certifications. Basic protection is DOT, Advanced protection is SNELL, Premium protection is E.C.E.

What is the "freight" charge when buying?

=The freight is the cost of shipping from the manufacturing location to the dealer.  This charge is applied to all new vehicles sold everywhere in the world.  An additional delivery fee may be charged from a selling dealer to the buyer should they not be picking up from the selling store.

What is "PDI" charge?

=Pre-Delivery-Inspection.  All new vehicles must be uncrated, assembled, and tested prior to delivery to the consumer.  A certified technician is responsible for this time involved.

What is the Warranty on a new vehicle?

=All New vehicles come with a 2 year / unlimited mileage factory warranty.  We also have 1 and 2 year extended warranties available.
